Visualize Your Grow
This interactive timeline shows the key stages of cannabis growth. For setup and care, see Indoor Growing, Balcony Growing, or Diagnosis Tool.
Photoperiod (feminized) cannabis plants flower in response to light cycle changes (12hrs light/12hrs darkness). They grow larger than autoflowers, produce higher yields, and allow more time for training techniques.
Additional Growing Notes for Malta
Malta's Mediterranean climate offers excellent conditions for cannabis cultivation, but comes with unique challenges. The intense summer heat (June-August) can stress plants, while winter humidity in coastal areas requires vigilance against mold.
When growing on balconies, consider wind protection, especially from the northwest Majjistral winds in winter. For discrete growing, autoflowering strains in fabric pots with morning-only sun exposure work well in urban settings.
